Migrateful’s mission is to celebrate refugees and migrants on their journey to integration by supporting them to run their own cookery classes.



Documenting the Journey of Arrival

Partnering with Fotosynthesis CIC on behalf of Coventry University, we co-designed an innovative Participatory Photography project exploring the concept of arrival. This collaborative initiative provided profound insights into newcomers' experiences, helping identify concrete ways to enhance support systems for those seeking refuge in a new country. Through visual storytelling, we created pathways for more conscious and responsive assistance programs.


In partnership with The Renewal Programme and Coventry University, we co-designed a participatory photography project exploring arrival and refugee experiences—culminating in an exhibition that informed more conscious support systems in London.

Exploring Masculinity Through the Lens and dialogue

In partnership with the Red Cross Men’s Group in Hackney, this powerful participatory photography project invited men to reflect on identity, self-expression, and masculinity. Through images and dialogue, the group shared personal stories, joys, and challenges—fostering connection and deeper understanding.

Mindful Plant-Based Printing Experiment

Engaging young people in a magical, mindful process of making art through nature. Using plant-based materials to test sustainable darkroom techniques, we explored eco-friendly photography while nurturing creativity, wellbeing, and connection through hands-on analogue printing.

Reframing Narratives: Photography at Refugee in Films

Working towards Refuge in Films and the magnificent Migrant Connection Festival, We use photography as both documentation and catalyst. our lenses captured the vibrancy of this cultural celebration while initiating crucial conversations about representation. Through interactive visual storytelling, we collectively challenge stereotypes and create space for authentic migrant narratives to flourish.
