Participatory Photography & Projects
Empowering communities through PhotoVoice methodology by placing cameras directly in participants’ hands. My collaborative approach enables people to document their lived experiences while creating spaces where diverse voices are amplified. Through guided workshops, participants develop technical skills and meaningful connections while creating visual narratives that inspire change.
Benefits:
• Reclaim Your Narrative – Take control of your story through images that counter stereotypes
• Develop New Skills – Gain technical abilities while boosting creative confidence
• Amplify Unheard Voices – Share your unique perspective with wider audiences
• Build Community – Forge meaningful connections through collaborative creativity
• Support Emotional Wellbeing – Process experiences and emotions through visual expression
• Challenge Misconceptions – Create authentic representations that shift public perceptions
• Drive Social Change – Use your images to raise awareness and influence policy
Through participatory photography, we create spaces for storytelling and identity exploration, showcasing how visual narratives can build community and understanding.

Collaborative Visual Stories
Documenting the Journey of Arrival

Partnering with Fotosynthesis CIC on behalf of Coventry University, I co-designed an innovative Participatory Photography project exploring the concept of arrival. This collaborative initiative provided profound insights into newcomers’ experiences, helping identify concrete ways to enhance support systems for those seeking refuge in a new country. Through visual storytelling, we created pathways for more conscious and responsive assistance programs.
